Efficient feeding plays a vital role in the success of fish farming operations. In recent years, there has been growing need to develop auto-feeder technologies that not only optimize feed utilization but also reduce labor costs and environmental impact. This abstract explores various types contribute achieving independence farming. The paper delves into three primary categories auto-feeders: demand-based feeders, time-based sensor-based feeders. Demand-based feeders employ advanced algorithms dispense based on fish's appetite, ensuring optimal rates minimizing wastage. Time-based provide at pre-determined intervals, offering more straightforward approach requiring careful calibration. Sensor-based utilize real-time data from sensors, such as water quality parameters behavior, adjust schedules quantities accordingly. highlights advantages limitations each type, considering factors conversion efficiency, growth performance, requirements. Furthermore, it discusses potential integration artificial intelligence machine learning enhance technologies' performance adaptability. findings suggest have revolutionize practices by enabling independence.
